New Vacuum Truck Scrubber

High Efficiency Vacuum Truck Scrubbers

Vapor Tech is now renting and selling vacuum truck scrubber systems which meet Texas MSS emissions laws which most chemical plants and refineries are following. These units are trailer mounted and are comprised of a 'forced-induction' vapor scrubber followed by twin 1000 pound carbon vessels. The scrubbers alone without carbon are capable of 99.9% removal of hydrocarbon vapors (initial removal efficiency). Once hydrocarbons start to accumulate in the chemical media the efficiencies will start to decline.

Vapor Tech has developed their own chemical media for hydrocarbons called Bio-Scrub X. This media has the ability to absorb organics to a high degree and is 100% biodegradable. Once spent this oil should have high BTU value and should have use as a good fuel source.

These vacuum truck scrubbing units are available for rent or purchase and are designed for flow rates up to 500 CFM. Vapor Tech will also be releasing a high volumn vapor scrubber for air mover exhaust in early 2012. This will be called the Eliminator 5500 and is capable of treating hydrocarbon vapors up to 5500 CFM.

You have provided excellent information about vacuum truck scrubber. Frequent carbon burnout is often an issue for vacuum truck exhaust during turnarounds , tank cleaning and pipeline suction. Compressed air is the only utility needed to operate a Vacuum Truck Scrubber.
